Perry Boys in the news...

I've really enjoyed my return to Blighty to promote Perry Boys, The Football Casual Gangs of Manchester and Salford. This week I was interviewed by Terry Christian on Radio Manchester, interviewed on Radio Wythenshawe, and am also going to appear in the Bolton Evening News, the Salford Advertiser, and the Prestwich Advertiser. The book is selling well in stores, and I took a little tour round the M60 Manchester ring-road the other day in the teeming rain, to drop in on several stores in the city-centre, Cheetham Hill, Stockport, the Trafford Centre, and Bolton, to sign books. It all feels a bit weird and I just want to press on now and try to write something different about something new, possibly relating to the subject of Perry Boys.

I also called up to Wrea Green to visit Milo, the publisher of the book, and met Pete and Chris, the blokes who run it. Had a very pleasant chat with them about this and that. This past few years they've really made a great contribution to British culture with their pioneering attitude toward bringing the exciting subjects that Britons are really interested in to peoples' attention. Good job, lads.
